Platte Valley Mortgage Company and Platte Valley National Bank Receives Top Third Lender Honors in the State of Nebraska from USDA... for the sixth straight year.
Scottsbluff, NE: The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development honored Platte Valley National Mortgage Company and Platte Valley National Bank with a plaque as one of Nebraska's top approved lenders for its Guaranteed Rural Housing (GRH) Loan Program in Fiscal Year 2003. Platte Valley National Mortgage Company and Platte Valley National Bank provided over $2.6 million in guaranteed rural housing loan funds, which fostered rural homeownership in the state.
According to Nebraska USDA Rural Development State Director Jim Barr, "This is a great program that affords many individuals and families an opportunity to buy a rural home. Eligible households can qualify for home mortgages under the GRH program with no down payment required. This is accomplished by loan funds being provided by a private lending institution such as Platte Valley National Mortgage Company and Platte Valley National Bank. Scottsbluff / Gering / Terrytown, along with Norfolk and Columbus, are eligible communities.
